Arkan has announced today its participation in GITEX Dubai 2009 that will be held from 18-22 October 2009.
Arkan will participate within the Egypt Pavillion that will include 17 egyptian company specialized in the ICT industry.
Eng. Hussam Fawzy; Arkan VP & CEO; said that it is Arkan’s first participation in GITEX Dubai, and we are participating to present our products and services. We will concentrate this year on the products related to Contact Centers as the demand is increasing rapidly on these products in the GULF region. About the development of the ICT sector in Egypt; he said; the ICT sector in Egypt is improving in a remarkable way and this improvement accelerated when the Egyptian companies started widening their market within the region. Compared to our few years of experience outside Egypt; he continued; we think our capabilities and remarkable products qualify us to achieve an outstanding position in the ICT market worldwide but everything takes time.
Mr. Abdel Rahman Sadek; Arkan Sales Manager; added “Our participation is our first step to the international market. We are here to extend our success in the Egyptian market which with our range of products”. Asking Mr. Abdel Rahman Sadek about Arkan latest news, he said “Arkan has recently signed with Sangoma Distribution Agreement for their products in the MENA region. Sangoma is the premium provider of voice and data connectivity components for software-based communication applications. Sangoma's data cards, voice cards, gateways and connectivity software are used in leading PBX, IVR, contact center and data-communication applications worldwide.
Mr. Tamer Mansour, Egypt's ambassador to the UAE, visited the Egyptian pavilion accompanied by Dr. Hazem Abdel Azim, head of information technology development association, and about his remarks about the exhibition he said that the arrangements are distinct while more pre-event marketing activities will be an asset.
